Let me just tell you about this weekend. It was incredible. I have been so stressed out lately with all the wedding planning, dance team, dance class, Cambrie's wedding....It's been alot and I'm REALLY tired. But after this weekend, I feel like 1,000 lbs. have been lifted off my shoulders! Last week I was DETERMINED to get our wedding invitations and Cambrie's Bridal Shower invitations sent out. I mean, we are 6 weeks out from the wedding and 3 weeks out from Cambrie's shower! And since I always make things difficult on myself, I just HAD to make all these invitations myself. Bryan's parents came in town and stayed the weekend with us. Bryan's mom was so wonderful and helped me finish assemble the remaining invitations and start stuffing them all in their perspective envelopes (yes, all the RSVP cards were numbered so that I could keep track of who turned theirs in or not. Don't judge.) Saturday morning.......I took a HUGE box to the post office and OFF THEY WENT!! The feeling of tossing handfuls of invitations into the little mail box was the best type of medicine. I was actually SMILING while doing this. I don't care how many cars were lined up behind me....But they are done! And I made a huge check on my list!
Bryan's parents are expert green thumbs. Their yard and gardens always look incredible. So they were nice enough to do a little (ok, A LOT) of work on ours! Who knew the magic some left over brick and a few potted flowers could do. Our house was so plain and boring before:

(Just imagine it without the snow....not quite sure why I don't seem to have a picture of our first home...I KNOW that was on my to do list...)
And after!!

The guys even put around 30 bags of top soil all over our yard because it was really uneven. I love driving up to our "new" house! It actually looks like someone LIVES there now! Yay!
So now everyone needs to come over so you can see the improvements.
Now keep your fingers crossed we can move to the INSIDE of the house now!! :)
